We needed tools that were simple to use and most importantly a great price.
As we started to progress in DIY auto restoration, we needed a welder. So we waited till Black Friday and found an Eastwood Welder discounted 10% off. On occasion Eastwood has sales and discount codes, but we were lucky enough to partner up with Eastwood. Now we have access to a very special discount promo code for all our followers and readers, so you don’t have to wait till Black Friday.

Eastwood has a large lineup of bead rolling tools. We got the smaller 8 inch mechanical bead roller. It mounts directly to our bench vise and works well on stiffening automotive sheet metal panels.

Having a sheet metal brake prevents us from having to form 90 degree bends on sheet metal with a hammer. The brake has a built in clamping system which easily bends sheet metal up to 16 gauge.

The MP140i is a multi-process welder that can flux, MIG, TIG, or even stick weld. It also runs off of common US 120V electric outlets. Eastwood’s online shop has a much larger lineup of welders which can be used to weld thin automotive sheet metal to super thick steel used on chassis.

We used to just cut sheet metal with an angle grinder, but that can be a bit overkill. This is where the sheet metal shears shine. We can cut 18 gauge or even 20 gauge sheet metal at different angles and curves with the the Eastwood Throatless metal shears.
