HARBOR FREIGHT WELDERS
Harbor Freight offers a wide selection of welders, but how do you choose? We'll provide a detailed comparison table to help you make the right decision.
Harbor Freight carries several different welder types from gas-less flux to MIG, TIG, and Stick. They also have multi-process welders that can do all 4 different welds (MIG, TIG, Flux, and Stick). Multi process welders from Harbor Freight are good because you can start with flux and then move to a gas setup without having to purchase two different welders. The only downside is Multi process can be a little more expensive upfront, but can save you some cash in the long run.
Use the table below to select up to two Harbor Freight welders. You can select a Harbor Freight MIG welder or even a Harbor Freight Multi process welder for comparison. The comparison table will display specification differences between each welder selected and the Harbor Freight MSRP price.
Note: The duty cycle values indicate how long you can continuously weld at your specified setting.
Here’s each Harbor Freight welder with a link to the specific welder you can purchase from Harbor Freight:
From all the different options to choose from the Titanium Easy Flux is a great choice for flux only. But if you want to MIG and only have 120v outlets in your garage, go for the Titanium MIG 140.
If budget isn’t a concern then the Vulcan Omni Pro 220 is a great choice. It supports 120v or 220v if you decide to add a 220v circuit later. The Vulcan Omni Pro 220 also supports Flux/MIG/TIG/Stick. This way you can start with Flux and move all the way up to TIG at a later point in time with the optional foot pedal and TIG torch purchase. The TIG function of the Vulcan Omni Pro also supports lift start TIG meaning you touch the metal then lift to start the TIG instead of scratching the electrode to the working piece to start.
If you’re still unsure of the welder to pick, you can use the Harbor Freights Welder guided selector tool that will ask you a set of questions to help guide you to which welder is best for you. For instance, if you’re a beginner, are not planning to use gas, and only have 120v outlet then Harbor Freight will display the correct welders that match that criteria.
